Sandra Davis - The Artist and Her Artistry

About the Designer

Sandra Davis is an internationally recognized jewelry artist specializing in beaded gemstone designs for all styles and occasions. Her works have been featured in Ebony TV Guide and Woman’s World magazines and on the ET (Entertainment Tonight) Web site.

The one-of-a-kind accessories that pair semiprcious stones, Swarovski crystals and precious metals are a hit with celebrities including Sheryl Lee Ralph (an original Dreamgirl),  KiKi Shepard (Showtime at the Apollo), Niecy Nash, (Clean House), S. Epatha Merkerson (Law and Order) and more. Two of her signature bracelets have debuted live on the Martha Stewart show and later on the show’s Web site. Other items have been featured in various publications and Web sites including Univision, a popular international Spanish Web site featuring today’s hottest trends.

The Detroiter is a sought-after jewelry artist for celebrity-studded charity and gift-bag events from New York to Los Angeles with her designs landing in the hands of notables such as Billie Jean King, Sharon Stone, Elton John,  Heather Graham, Victoria Rowell,  Alfre Woodard, Loretta Devine, Judge Mablean Ephriam and more.

A bracelet she created in 2005 was a featured item in TV Guide’s most exclusive gift bags for that year’s Emmy Awards winners.

This versatile artist will tell you that her collections flow from sources of great emotional and spiritual inspiration.

“It’s not so much who inspires me, but what: contrasting color combinations and textures,” she says. “I most enjoy making jewelry that creates impressions, with pieces you feel you can relate to because a color reminds you of candy you ate as a child…the stone that remind you of pebbles you played with as a kid …shades that remind you of the beautiful fall that you fell in love.”
